Attending the EMERGE show this Saturday at Otis was a great experience. It was humbling to see all that amazing talent in one space. My favorite piece was the Facebook posters, they were so witty and nicely design- it was great inspiration. I think sometimes as students, we forget that there is talent and inspiration to be found from other student work. I was also especially drawn to the editorial and publication work. I've always been partial to publication design so it was awesome to see that there were so many displayed. The quality on the them was spectacular as well as the process books. It was also great to have my work shown outside of CSUN, but it was better in that the show really motivated me to become a better designer and student.
